Sistem Penghitungan UMP di DKI Lebih Menguntungkan

UMP Calculation System in City is More Profitable

Jakarta Governor, Basuki ‘Ahok’ Tjahaja Purnama is still considering to use government regulation (PP) in remunerating. As the calculation system for determination of provincial minimum wage (UMP) in the city is more profitable.

It's definitely increased, could be Rp 3.1 million as I see

"We surely follow amendment government regulation but we think the system in City is more profitable for labors, we've surveyed, then the result will be added with inflation and economic growth," said Basuki, at City Hall, Tuesday (10/27).

Basuki to Check 2015 KHL's Formula

He stated the amount of KHL 2015 has been determined amounted to Rp 2.98 million. The value is a base for UMP calculation next year. Such calculation method has been used since 2012. "So we decide, it's good if it could be better than PP," he expressed.

He ensures UMP value next year will be higher than KHL. It is predictably above Rp 3 million. "It's definitely increased, could be Rp 3.1 million as I see," he disclosed.

The determination of UMP itself should be through meeting of Remunerating Board consisting of 3 elements. They are government, labors, and entrepreneurs. The discussion meeting itself will be held in the near future.
