Some oil waste was found on some points of Tidung and Tidung Kecil Island water, South Seribu Islands on the last week. Seribu Islands Environment Agency (KLH) will investigate it soon to find the perpetrator of the water pollution.

We will investigate whether it's from ship passing by or brought from underwater currents

Head of Seribu Islands Environment Agency (KLH), Tiur Maeda Hutapea stated that regarding the matter her side will do observation and investigation.

"We will investigate whether it's from ship passing by or brought from underwater currents," she stated, Tuesday (10/27).

According to her, the observation and residents' report keep being followed up if there is intent found. "All can happen, it could be from ship or traditional boat waste. We investigate it, if it is proven, it will be followed up," she asserted.
