19 Companies to Build 57 RPTRAs in Jakarta

Jakarta Provincial Government invited 19 companies to provide Child-Friendly Public Space (RPTRA). All companies will construct the park at 57 locations and it is targeted to be done this year.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama (Ahok), said that Jakarta alrady has six location of RPTRA at this moment. By the end of this year the number of RPTRA will increase to 63 locations.

Basuki Uses Private Sector Standard For RPTRA ConstructionThose 19 companies are PT Agung Sedayu, PT Metropolitan Kencana, PT Agung Podomoro Land, Djarum (Blibli.com), Alfa Good Land, Bogasari, PT Intiland Development, Nestle Indonesia, Indofood, PT Ciputra Development, Indolakto, Harapan Global Niaga, PT Summarecon, Elite Prima Hutama, Artisam Wahyu, Keppel Kand, Bintang Toedjoeh, Indoland Inti Prakarsa, Yayasan Dharma Suci, Yayasan Bhakti Barito, Mount Indonesia, and Pendawa.
According to him, the companies could be the distributor of PKK Mart at the park. So the stores will get cheaper price.
Based on the plan, the number of RPTRA will be added by 150 locations next year. The construction will not use the company's CSR, but city budget. In fact, the governor will still accept if there are companies want to assist adding RPTRA.
"One park could spend Rp 500 million. The budget will be returned to city budget amendment if the park construction is assisted by companies' CSR," he stated.
Later on, the company will manage the maintenance for six months before handed over to local urban village head and Dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries.
