Kota Tua Festival is held in Kota Tua, Taman Sari, since Wednesday (10/28) until this Thursday (10/30). It aims to conserve Kota Tua as one of the city heritage.

Kota Tua is not only West Jakarta residents' pride but also belongs to Jakarta and national, even world

"Kota Tua as national heritage contains of historical value and Betawi Culture. Kota Tua is not only maintained physically that should be renovated  by not changing the shape as the historical value must be maintained," said West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Efendi, when he opened the festival, Wednesday (10/28).

He uttered the festival will be handled by Jakarta Tourism and Culture Department. "Kota Tua is not only West Jakarta residents' pride but also belongs to Jakarta and national, even world," he expressed.

In the opening, he handed in aid of a number wheelchairs, hearing aids, and tambourines to residents.
