Seribu Island's Typical Food Innovation Improved

Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-Department is opening a culinary training for caterers. Food innovation with original raw material of Seribu Islands will be developed as an origin culinary.

Head of Administration for Seribu Islands Tourism and Culture Sub-Department, Neneng Roehaeni said the activity is to provide knowledge about the recipes and how to package it to be more creative and innovative.

"In order to attract tourists to taste or buy, we make it creative and varied with original material," she said, while given training in Seribu Selatan Islands, Friday (10/30).

Roehaeni confident that tourists who visit Seribu Islands aren’t merely want to enjoy its natural beauty, but also the culinary.

"We’ll monitor its development, whether is there any change in the presentation and the impact of resident’s income," she disclosed.
