The rain that poured Jakarta one day ago, causing puddle as high as 15 cm along Jalan Pluit Selatan, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, precisely in front of Aston Hotel.

Fakhri, (24), a local resident expressed that Jalan Pluit Selatan has been inundated up to 15 cm since morning. "I see puddle there, it also disturbs motorist and road user," he told, Tuesday (11/3).

Mayor of North Jakarta, Rustam Effendi the puddle can already be handled by officers of Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) from Pluit Urban Village.

"The gutter was clogged and caused puddle. It has been handled at noon," he told.

He stated, North Jakarta Administration does various ways to reduce puddle, that is by draining the drainage, demolishing inrit and so on. "We hope locals could participate with us," he hoped.
