2016, City Applied Self-Managed Trash Management

Next year, Jakarta Provincial Government will self-manage trash without involving third side. Considering, the self-manage budget that proposed on 2016 City Budget Draft is lower than tipping fee fund or trash management fund.

The self manage budget proposed on 2016 City Budget is Rp 260 billion

"The self manage budget proposed on 2016 City Budget is Rp 260 billion. The number is lower compared with tipping fee that spend amounted to Rp 336 billion on 2015 City Budget," said Vice Head of Jakarta Cleanliness Department, Ali Maulana, at City Hall, Thursday (11/5).

He told, the amount of fund eventually will be used to purchase heavy equipment and for operational fund of  trash managing for a year. "We don't make any profit," he explained.

2016, Tipping Fee Allocation Fund to Bantar Gebang Stopped

The former of Tambora Sub-District Head disclosed, the government is still allocating tipping fee amounted to Rp 8 billion to PT Godang Tua Jaya, the management of Bantar Gebang Landfill.

"We're still paying tipping fee as the cooperation contract discontinuation will be conducted on January 10 2016 or 105 days after first warning letter is sent to Godang Tua," he stated.
