Thousands of street lights points (PJU) in West Jakarta will be
replaced with light emitting diode (LED) lamp. It is targeted to be finished at
the end of 2015.
Our target is finished before December
Joko Laksono, Head Section of Supervision and Control for West
Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub Department said that there are 3,725 street lights will be replaced with LEDs.
"Our target is finished before December. The reason is due to the
increasing need for lighting. It is recorded as much as 3,725 LED lights by 40
watt of power is still progressing," he expressed, Monday (11/9).
Laksono added that the installation must be accelerated since more residents request it through Qlue.
"Because this is their aspirations. We also target lights
installation in slum area,” he finished.
