36 Buildings on Sekretaris Riverbank Demolished

Around 36 buildings on Sekretaris Riverbank, Jalan Gili Sampeng, Kebon Jeruk Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, were demolished, Wednesday (11/11). Hundreds of joint personnel from Satpol PP, Army/Police and Infrastructures and Public Facilities Handling (PPSU) officers were deployed in the demolishment.

The total buildings demolished is 36 buildings and 1 small mosque

"The total buildings demolished is 36 buildings and 1 small mosque," said West Jakarta Vice Mayor, M. Zen.

15 Illegal Buildings on Jl Kelapa Dua Dismantled

Previously, M. Zen told, those buildings had been demolished in December 2014 ago.

"So this is advanced demolishment. As planned, after the demolishment is done, it will be continued with constructing inspection road to anticipate congestion on Jalan Gili Sampeng," he explained.

His side, he continued, has socialized the demolishment to the residents. Even, the government has accommodated residents' aspiration to get a flat.

"There are 3 flats, namely Daan Mogot, Marunda and Komaruddin flat. If it's not possible, the government is construction flat in Rawa Buaya," he closed
