In a bid to anticipate trash piles during rainy season, thousands of janitors will be alerted in the all pump stations and filtration door bins that spread over 8 sub-districts.

The current number of janitors are 1,470 which consisting of street sweeper, driver, water channel cleaner and so on

“The current number of janitors are 1,470 which consisting of street sweeper, driver, water channel cleaner and so on. As planned, they will be alerted at infiltration door bins,” said Sarifudin, Head of West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department, Wednesday (11/11).

Sarifudin added the effort is a control way in case flood occurred. Moreover, his side will also hold a meeting with whole sub-district and urban village heads.

“I’ve consolidated to headmen together we suppress trash volume in West Jakarta,” he disclosed.
