Pedestrians complain about the rampant of motorcycles passing pedestrian bridge on Jalan Yos Sudarso, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta. They hope it to be controlled.

Despite the road is jammed, the bridge cannot be passed by motorcycles

Commonly, motorcyclists passing the bridge to avoid traffic jam on Jalan Yos Sudarso towards Jalan Enggano.

" Despite the road is jammed, the bridge cannot be passed by motorcycles . It's pedestrian bridge, but not flyover," complained Minarsih (36), one of pedestrians, Thursday (11/12).

Regarding the matter, Mayor of North Jakarta, Rustam Effendi is concerned. According to him, there should be strict action so that the bridge will not be passed by motorcycles anymore.

"It's the authority of traffic police. As the rule has existed. So it's not Transportation Department's," he said when being contacted via cell phone.
