JFEE 2015 Performed The Creation of Famous Designers

Jakarta Fashion and Food Expo (JFFR) which took place in Historical and Arts and Ceramics Museums, Kota Tua, West Jakarta, performed the creation of famous designers. As planned, the festival will be held as annual event.

Head of Jakarta Tourism and Cultures Department, Purba Hutapea stated that JFFE 2015 is a fashion show and culinary event held jointly with Regional National Craft Council (Deskranda).

"We serve fashion and culinary performance and presentation to visitors so that they can get tour experience," he stated, Monday (11/16).

Sidewalks in Kota Tua Station Expanded

He told that in the event craftsmen from Deskranda and Small Medium Enterprises engaged in the fashion and culinary business are involved. There was also workshop with material of high tea time, latte art and telling story cooking of betawi cuisine from two well-known cooks, Adzan Budiman and William Wongso.

"Hopefully the event that we held yesterday could be continuous and enjoyed by citizens both from Jakarta and the surrounding cities," he hoped.

Head of Destination Attraction Division of Disparbud DKI, Cucu Ahmad Kurnia added that the fashion show are from the product of famous local designer such as Pradipta, Dara Dara, Roemah Kebaya, Dara Baro, Riana Kusuma, Batik Chic, Rumah Betawi, Artina Bordir dan Merdi Sihombing.

"The craftmen joined in Deskranda are also participating to exhibit their products," he disclosed.

The event was held on November 14-15 ago. Citizens were enthusiastic visiting the event.
