3 Trash Filter Machines at Cililitan Sluice Gate Damaged

A trash filter machine that put in Cilitan Sluice Gate is damaged . As a result, trash piled up in the filter. To lift it up, officer used one heavy equipment type amphibi.

There are three machines malfunctioned. We had fixed them but damage again. Thus we had to pick up trash manually

Ahmad Suryanegara, (42), one of sluice gate keepers stated three automatic trash collector machines near the sluice are malfunctioned.

“There are three machines malfunctioned. We had fixed them but damage again. Thus we had to pick up trash manually,” he admitted, Monday (11/16).

CCTV on Sluice Gates Should Keep Being Monitored

He added the machine operates at 8-4 PM. Whereas, its existence is also needed at night due to floodwater from Bogor. That is why, trash continues to pile up.

Another worst thing is trash that piling up in the sluice has not been cleaned.

“This is because our truck has been sent to another place for transporting trash. I hope we could clean it tomorrow,” he hoped.
