BPBD: 314 Families Become Victim in Yesterday's Rain

The rain that has poured the capital on Tuesday (11/16) yesterday, still leaving puddles in a number of residential areas.

There is no evacuation and evaluation due to rain yesterday

Based on data of Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD), until 6 AM, there are 314 families or 935 people affected yesterday's rain.

Head of Information and Control for Jakarta BPBD, Bambang Surya Putra conveyed those 314 families are from six RWs in four urban villages from 3 sub-districts.

Puddle in Kampung Pulo Receding

"There is no evacuation and evaluation due to rain yesterday," he uttered, Wednesday (11/17).

Putra explained, the inundated areas are including RT 03, 04, 05, 10/RW 11 and RT 01, 03, 04, 05/RW 12 Bukit Duri Urban Village, Tebet, South Jakarta.

"In this area, water level was between 20-30 cm," he told.

He continued, in East Jakarta, puddle hit residential areas in RT 05, 14, 15, 16 and 17/RW 07 and RT 09 and RT 10/RW 11, Bidara China Urban Village. Then there are also RT 03 and RT 05/RW 03, in Kampung Melayu, Jatinegara.

"Water level in Bidara Cina and Kampung Melayu is 10 cm," he reported.

In Kramat Jati Sub-District, he furthered, flood hit residential in RT 08/RW 01, Cawang Urban Village, Kramat Jati Sub-District. Totally, the yesterday's rain has inundated 3 sub-districts, 4 urban villages and 6 RWs.

"The number of flood victims is 314 families and 935 people," he finished.
