Four Units of MRU Officially Operated

Jakarta Provincial Government together with PT Pertamina operate four Refueling Car Units (MRU) at the same time in Lapangan Banteng, Pulo Gebang gas-filling station (SPBG), company-owned, company-operated (COCO) fuel-filing (SPBU) on Jalan Industri, and Rest Area KM 57 of Jakarta-Cikampek toll road.
Each storage capacity is 1,800 Premium gasoline liter equivalent (LSP) per day.
Yuli Hartono, Jakarta Head Dept. of Energy and Industry, said the refueling car unit will be operated by PT Pertamina through its affiliation company PT Pertagas Niaga.

"Each storage capacity is 1,800 Premium gasoline liter equivalent (LSP) per day. It contains Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) which is environmental friendly and movable," he said, Monday (11/16).
Meanwhile, Elisabeth Ratu RA, Energy, Electricity, Oil and Gas Management Board Head, added that it needs 40 units of MRU to accommodate gas necessity in Jakarta.
"Now we have five units, seven remaining will be prepared next year. Total is 12 MRUs for Pertamina," she stated.
She is optimistic that 40 MRUs can be realized in the next three years.
"All public transport and Jakarta Provincial Government's operational vehicle will be able to use gas," she disclosed.
