City Cooperates with Perhutani for Livestock Land Provision

Jakarta Provincial Government is holding cooperation with State-Owned Forestry General Company (Perhutani) regarding land provision for cow livestock.

We have coordinated with Perhutani. And they are willing to provide land

Currently, development of cow livestock is a part of the government's strategy in order food security. Eventually, the government will empower the local resident to manage it with profit sharing system.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat stated that his side has built communication with the company when attending Bank Indonesia Seminary Broad in Yogyakarta, last Friday (11/13). From the communication, the company side is willing to provide land.

"We have coordinated with Perhutani. And they are willing to provide land," he stated, Tuesday (11/17).

From the discussion, he uttered, his side wants a land provided in west Java areas, such as Bogor and Purwakarta. However, it does not rule out the possibility that the land provided is in Banten.

"I want the land in West Java areas like Bogor, Purwakarta and Banten. We just need to propose it to be followed-up," he disclosed.
