Residents of Meruya Ilir, RW 04 Meruya Utara Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta complain about the damaged road on Jalan Kartika towards Meruya Selatan.

"Residents usually take the road for going to school, work and market. Sometimes it's inundated when raining, and dusty when it's dried. I hope the road to get repaired," complained Sarah (32), a local, Thursday (11/19).
Meanwhile Meruya Utara Urban Village, Pangestu Aji acknowledged has repeatedly sent a letter to West Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department to repair the road.

According to him, casting is the right way considering the land contour which is very degraded. Besides that, the access road towards 215 Jakarta State Junior High School (SMPN) has many big potholes and strewn with small chunks of asphalt.
"So it cannot only be asphalted, layered even patched. The only way is concreted," he disclosed.
