2016 Budget for Seribu Island Housing Sub-Dept Eliminated

The budget which was proposed by Seribu Island Housing and Government's Building Sub-Department for 2016 is completely eliminated. It is because whole programs inputted on e-planning are considered to be nonsense.

"What Seribu Island has proposed can't be approved," told Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama when sweeping the General Policy for City Budget Priorities and the Tentative Budget Platform (KUA-PPAS) 2016, at City Hall, Saturday night (11/21).

Ahok found that budget for constructing education and playing facilities in Harapan Island is up to Rp 3,7 billion. While Jakarta Provincial Govermment already has standart for constructing Child-Friendly Integrated Public Space (RPTRA) is only Rp 750 billion.

"How could the budget for RPTRA be Rp 3,7 billion. We do have standart. That's why i asked private side to construct it," he asserted.

With the elimination, in 2016, all programs of Seribu Island Housing and Government's Building Sub-Department will be joined to North Jakarta's.

"2016 we're going to freeze Seribu Island. Neighborhood road and everything will be joined to North Jakarta," he disclosed.

The program presentation last night for Seribu Island Housing and Government's Building Sub-Department was done by the Department Head, Ika Lestari Aji.
