Waste Anticipation, Garbage Carrier Vessels Alerted in Seribu Islands

Since the early last month, Seribu Islands Cleanliness Sub-Dept has alerted the garbage carrier vessels, in coastal and waters of Seribu Islands.
Most sea garbage is in Pari and Untung Jawa Islands
Bambang Suntoro, Head of Seribu Islands Sub-Dept. said as many as six carrier vessels are sent every day to solicit garbage on the coast of the islands.

He explained, the vessels with 100 cubic meters capacity are alerted as Temporary Garbage Disposal Site (TPS).
"The garbage collected will directly be disposed to Bantargebang," he told.
The current number of vessel is about 10 Camataran vessels and 10 bay vessels for garbage transportation and 6 others with varying sizes.
"Last year, every one month, we could transport 1,000 cubic meters at the same conditions," he uttered.
