Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat wants an innovation to attract citizens reading interest. Developing digital library needs to be done so that citizens could read book everytime and everywhere.

"There should be an innovation, not only reading book conventionally. But also digitally so that citizens could read everywhere," said Djarot after MoU signatory between Jakarta Library and Regional Archives Agency (BPAD) with National Library (Perpusnas), Tuesday (11/24).
According to him, reading is a positive energy channeling. Even, by reading a book with full of value will make officials reluctant to do corruption.

so that reading become basic needs like eating and drinking," he disclosed.Currently, Jakarta has online library application called i-Jakarta, with book collection about 3000 titles. It is hoped, the cooperation built will make book collection more increased in the existing digital library.
