Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama stated the next  implementation of 2018 Asian Games call into doubt. It is because Tiongkok has declared ready if the implementation diverted to Tiongkok.

“We fear as Tiongkok seems be so ready to execute it. Our position is doubtful,” he said at City Hall, Thursday (11/26).

Ahok admitted, The Olympic Council of Asia will visit Indonesia and check our readiness in the near future. One of the requirements that must be met are mockups manufacture venues and supporting facilities for the Asian Games.

“We’ll show them that we’ll build it as soon as possible and the tender process is being proceed,” he expressed.

However, he claimed that his side has completed the mockup. “They fear that we can’t fulfill our obligation to build athlete village. 

Furthermore, we have sent them the mock-up yet its animation to convince the council,” he remarked.

As the House of Representatives (DPR) has not approved the issue of land use permits for the construction Kemayoran Apartment D10 Ahok is going to ask for the help of Vice President Jusuf Kalla and the Secretariat of State.

“We need their help,” he exclaimed.
