Violating Broadcasting Ethics, TV and Radio Sanctioned

Jakarta Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPID) intends to summon a radio and a television media regarding the violation of broadcasting ethics. Eventually the management of the two medias will be asked for confirmation related to reporting considered violating some rules. 

While the television media was known has been given warning for two times

Chairman of Jakarta KPID, Adil Quarta Anggoro stated that the radio station was reported by citizens has violated advertising ethics.

Next Year, 18 Digital TV Channels Ready to Airs

"While the television media was known has been given warning twice. The media broadcasted people smoking on evening show which was watched by many students," he explained, Monday (11/30). 

According to him, the two electronic medias were given warning, clarification, evaluation until suggestion. In future if they still do such mistake, KPID will give sanction in form of duration cut until broadcasting dismissal. 

"We appeal the media owners to keep obeying ethics and rules of broadcasting. Including often doing guidance to the crew on field," he appealed.
