City Purchases 23 Hectares of Land for Flat Construction

A plan for constructing 50 thousand of flat units until 2017 keeps being prepared by Jakarta Provincial Government. The lands for the construction have also been purchased.

Head of Jakarta Housing and Government's Building Department, Ika Lestari Adji stated that in 2015 her side spends budget amounted to Rp 1.8 trillion for purchasing land as wide as 23 hectares. Those lands are spread in 16 locations in Jakarta.

"The total of lands purchased is 23 hectares in 16 locations," she explained, Wednesday (12/2).
She told that, currently, a part of the lands has been prepared for the construction. As for the others, are still on finalizing step.
"The construction begins next year. But some of the lands still need to be finalized," she told.
However, the construction for the next year cannot be revealed yet, as it is still being planned.
