Governor Approved Kampung Pulo Flat Construction Concept

The concept is flat development by using citizen's land

Jakarta Head Dept. of Public Housing and Governmental Building, Ika Lestari Aji, admitted the flat development concept suggested by Ciliwung Merdeka Community in Kampung Pulo, Jatinegara Barat, East Jakarta has been agreed by Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama (Ahok).

"The concept is flat development by using citizen's land," she said, Tuesday (9/29).

Kampung Pulo Flat Project Managed By Developer

She added that the flat construction in Kampung Pulo is done to improve the residential. The citizen' land or building who are dismantled will be replaced with flat.

"If they have land document, we'll replace 1.5 times of land in flat. If they have 100 meter square of land, they willl get 150 meter square. They will get 5 units of the width of each unit is 30 meter square," she explained.

She continued that if the residents only have girik (customary land appointments) document, they will get 1.2 times replacement. And for those who have no documents but already lived for long time, they will get 80-90 percent.

According to her, the flat is special for Kampung Pulo citizens who have land documents. The construction is integrated with school, mosque, and traditional market.

"The governor has agreed the concept. We wait for socialization to the residents by the community," she disclosed.
