Next Year, Pasar Rumput Integrated Flat Built

Jakarta Provincial Government along with Ministry of Public Works and People Housing, signed cooperation agreement of Pasar Rumput Integrated Flat construction.

We're going to start the flat construction next year

Expert Staff of the Ministry for Inter Institutes Relation, Mirna Amien stated that the construction begins next year by spending Rp 950 billion.

"We're going to start the flat construction next year," she stated, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/8).

The flat will have two towers on a 120,000-square-meter land. Every tower has 25 floors with a total of unit up to 2,000.

"Hopefully, flat construction would not stop just right here but the others as well. It will eventually be relocation place for residents on Ciliwung Riverbank," she explained.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki 'Ahok' Tjahaja Purnama stated that Pasar Rumput Flat will be a relocation place for residents on Ciliwung Riverbank "Demolish buildings on the riverbank which is going to be worked on then relocate the residents," he told.

He wants the flat to be equipped with gas pipe connection and a good ventilation. Some other supporting facilities are also expected to already be provided, like generator.

"I want it to be designed not too stuffy," he expressed.
