The collapsed street light on Jalan Sunter Barat, Sunter Agung, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, had finally been repaired on last Friday (12/11). The street lighting then back to normal as before.

"The broken pole and 2 lamps which were crushed by a tree are replaced with the new ones," said Head of Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Suryanto, Monday (12/14).

According to Suryanto, the replacement is done since the light condition was not possible to be repaired. He assessed the repair would take too long. "Consequently, th e road would be dark there. That's why, we replace them with the new ones," he explained.

His side, he continued, appealed the authorities of tree pruning to handle fallen-prone trees.

"The tree was so lush, then stuck on a truck's tailgate. Hence, to avoid such condition, the trees must be pruned," he disclosed.
