2017, City to Have 50 Thousands Units of Flat

Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama is targeting to build 50 thousands units of flat in 2017. The flat construction is an answer to fulfill citizens’ rights to have decent place.

So, no more flooding story

“The plan is based on city's mid-term regional development plan (RPJMD),” he uttered, Saturday (12/19).

With this flat’s construction, there will be no residents who live in riverbank and suffered from flooding.

“So, no more flooding story," he expressed.

However, the attempt at once to prove that City Administration's concern to upholds human rights (HAM).

Basuki added, if government continues to let the residents affected by the floods, it surely a violation of human rights.

“Relocation is the only way to solve this issue,” he finished.
