Basuki to Set APTB Bus' Fare By Rp 3,500
“If we set t he public transport fare at Rp 3,500, people from outside Jakarta can save their money. Surely, it will parse congestion in the city,” he said, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/22).
According to him, it could attract private vehicle users to switch to public transport. That is why, his party continues to encourage Kopaja, Kopami and Metromini to use rupiah per kilometer system.
By doing so, he assessed the driver would not think about setoran (set fee), because payment will be calculated by distance traveled.
“You just pay for Rp 3,500 because we subsidize it,” he finished.
