The rampant of internet cafe or locally known as warnet, operating for 24 hours in Kalibaru, Cilincing, North Jakarta, complained by the locals.
We don't want it to be shrouded prostitute place
Marjito, a residents of RT 05/05, Kalibaru Urban Village stated there are many students truanting school and spending time to play game in the cafe. He also worry it could be used for shrouded prostitute.
"Our children have bad grade since they often go to the cafe. Besides that, we don't want it to be shrouded prostitute place. So we hope it to be controlled soon," he complained.
The Ranks of Matraman Sub District Held Advanced RaidCilincing Sub-District Head, Nana Hendriana claimed that his side is holding socialization and data collection toward the cafe
"The urban village head is already instructed to record and socialize the owner. Next week we control it," he told.
He added, the controlling will surely be done since the residents have repeatedly complained about it to Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat.
"A few weeks ago, when Mr. Vice Governor met Cilincing's public figure, he got suggestion from residents about the cafe. Therefore, it will be controlled soon," he disclosed.
