Online Tax Device Installed in Big Turnover Restaurant

Jakarta Tax Service Department (DPP) will install monitoring an online transactions device or Point of Sales (PoS) in a restaurant with a turnover of at least Rp 200 million per year. Thus, the tax to be paid by the restaurant can be directly recorded per transaction.

"Through this device, the taxpayer (WP) easier to pay and report their taxes in an effective, efficient, transparent and accountable. The online system is to keep the consistency of the transaction, how they pay taxes every month," said Agus Bambang Setyowidodo, Head of Jakarta Tax Service Department while installing the device in Pelangi Restaurant, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/29).

There have been 10,900 restaurants in Jakarta registered. While tax agency has prepared 5,500 devices. So, the data menu and restaurant sales transactions will automatically connect to data base.

5,500 Online Tax Monitoring Tools Distributed to Taxpayers

"This device is used for online transactions toward 5,500 offline restaurants," he finished.
