Jakarta Bina Marga Department has set the standard operation procedures (SOP) for supervision and control of pumps on the street and Gembrong Market Underpass, Jatinegara, East Jakarta.

They do not need to do supervision from underpass pump house. Considering it has been guarded and monitored by freelance worker

Head of Jakarta Bina Marga Department, Yusmada Faisal disclosed, direct supervision matter lies in freelancer and indirect supervision lies in civil servant. "They do not need to do supervision from underpass pump house. Considering it has been guarded and monitored by freelance worker," he expressed, Monday (2/8).

According to him, civil servant will still play a role in the field to train the freelance worker if they are still confused how to handle the pump. Thus if there is no emergency situation, they can do another program.

Especially for Gembrong Market Underpass's pump, was damaged on Saturday (2/6). But it has been repaired. And for next year, its reparation is still the authority of Jakarta Water Management Department.
