Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Board (BPBD) noted 17 urban villages in South Jakarta are prone to erode.
These zones are bordered with river valley or slope
Those areas are spread in six sub-districts such as Cilandak, Jagakarsa, Kebayoran Lama, Mampang Prapatan, Pasar Minggu, and Pesanggrahan.
In Cilandak, prone areas area in Cilandak Barat Urban Village, Cipete Selatan, Gandaria Selatan, Lebak Bulus, and Pondok Labu.
Two Roads on Jagakarsa ErodedIn Jagakarsa are Lenteng Agung, Ciganjur, Cipedak, Jagakarsa, Srengseng Sawah, and Tanjung Barat. In Kebayoran Lama is Pondok Pinang, while Mampang Prapatan is in Bangka Urban Village.
Three urban villages prone to erode in Pasar Minggu Sub-district are Cilandak Timur, Kebagusan, and Pejaten Timur, while Pesanggrahan is in Bintaro.
“These zones are bordered with river valley or slope. Land will slide if the rain pours heavily,” said Basuki Rahmat, BPBD’s Handling Section Head, Friday (2/19).
