The building of Public Company of State Film Production (Perum PFN) on Jalan Otista Raya, Bidara Cina, Jatinegara burnt on Friday afternoon (4/11). Luckily, the fire could be extinguished one hour later by involving 17 units of fire trucks.

Gathered information revealed, the fire appeared from the second floor of the building which is known as producer of Si Unyil puppet series and G 30/S PKI movie. Suddenly, the fire spreading to the third floor and the basement of this 1,000 square meters building. The workers seemed panic and went outside to escape.
The Public Relation of PFN, Fetty Shinta, the workers and officers in the building could not take much action. "We immediately call the fire agency. The building is still in renovation process. We asked the contractor to finish the project in two months. But, the fire has changed everything," she said, Friday (4/11).
3 Houses on Jalan Nanas Razed by FireShinta continued, her side was could not calculate the loss.
Meanwhile, East Jakarta Head Division of Operational for Sub-dept. of Fire and Disaster Handling expected the fire was came from neglected welding carbide owned by the contractor workers. The fire was easily burning the flammable material in the building such as table, chair, carpet, etc.
There are no victim in this incident, but it caused traffic jam on Jalan Otista Raya especially from Matraman toward Cililitan.
