Central KPU Commissioner, Hadar Nafis Gumay, stated that this re-voting was conducted to guarantee the public and legislative candidates right.
7 TPSs Held Re-Voting“Even though we have to work two times because of the switched of ballot papers, this re-voting should be carried out,” he stated.
The re-voting would not disturb the KPU schedule in conducting the counting. “For the counting process, we (KPU) will do it until PPS voting is over on Tuesday (4/15),” he explained.
However, in TPS 31, public participation was declining from the April 9 voting. From
291 voters, there were only 241 voters participated.
