Beef Market Operation Will Open in 22 Markets

Market operation to stabilize the beef price will be opened in 22 markets that spread in Jakarta. This is to lighten lower-income people's burden in consuming meat at an affordable price.

"We open market operation to prevent price monopoly from trader," said Director of PD Pasar Jaya, Lutfi Rachman, Tuesday (3/1).

He stated that beef price is from Rp 95-99 thousand per kg.

"We want to to make our trader as partner and synergy, instead of competitor, thus the government's desire to reduce price can be achieved," he said.

In Central Jakarta, his side will open the market operation in Cempaka Putih, Johar Baru, Petojo Ilir markets. In North Jakarta, the market will open in Rawa Badak, Pademangan Timur and Sindang markets.

In West Jakarta, it will open in Tomang Barat, Grogol, Glodok, and Cengkareng markets. And in South Jakarta, it will open in Kebayoran Lama, Bata Putih and Mayestik markets.

"In East Jakarta, we will open in Kramat Jati, Cibubur, Jatinegara and Matraman markets," he finished.
