Tens of personnel controlled tyre and rim traders along Jalan Cideng Timur, Jatibaru up to Jalan Abdul Muis, Petojo Selatan Urban Village, Gambir, Central Jakarta. Hundreds of tyre and rim were seized by the personnel.

“We seized 635 tyres and brought to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung, while we asked traders to move their rims,” said Kamal, Petojo Selatan Urban Village Head, Monday (3/7).

According to him, the traders were controlled due to occupying sidewalk and water channel. As many as 53 Satpol PP personnel, PPSU personnel, army and police were deployed.

Responding about tyre and rim traders in front of Tomas Market, Jalan Cideng Timur, he admitted must cooperate with PD Pasar Jaya before controlling the traders.

“The land is owned by PD Pasar Jaya. Cooperation has been made,” he stated.
