According to Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, if it is managed by private side, the city administration does not need to spend fund. But terminal will be built equal to the mall and be integrated with the park and ride as well as equipped with many facilities.
"We learn from development of Rawamangun Terminal that spent Rp 40 billion, Pulogebang Terminal almost Rp 1 trillion. Whereas, its facility utilization is lower," he expressed, Thursday (3/10).
Basuki Uses Private Sector Standard For RPTRA ConstructionHe details if the hand over was done, bus stop revenue would be shared 70 percent for management and 30 percent for city administration. Management itself will be given time within 10-15 years.
"They should build terminal as good as possible, because will be equipped with shopping facility. Utilization of ad and other more effectively contribute to local income," he stated.
The same thing is also applied at bus stop waiting for passengers. Later on, private party will organize and advertise as attractive as possible thus in addition to good and comfortable government also gets good results.
"So we do not want to spend money but the results are unoptimal, we just use the private to maintain," he finished.
