400 Street Vendos in Jakarta Are Safe from Dangerous Food

As many as 400 street vendors in the capital are ensured free of harmful food ingredients. They have also been incorporated with applications that can be ordered online by citizens.

"Citizens must be selective buy food now. It helps us eliminate vendors that use hazardous materials," he stated.
There are several startup that has a food application to join with the city administration. Only vendors who have BPOM certificate could get into the applications, such as Zomato, Go-Food and Porter.
One of them who has certificate and entered into application, namely Bakso Pak Kumis at Blok S, South Jakarta.
Head of Jakarta Smart City Unit, Setiaji disclosed, collaboration with various parties such as startup and community are helping to promote the street vendors who have BPOM certificate.
"In future, it could become a benchmark to develop business," he hoped.
