Seribu Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept is targeting to make Seribu Islands free from rabies disease. This is done in line with Key Performance program.

"Some islands have been checked and then continued with vaccination against animal from rabies," said Head of Seribu Islands Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept, Sutrisno, Thursday (3/17).
According to him, since early March 2016, there are 425 animals vaccinated from rabies. In details, 419 of them are cats and 6 dogs from Panggang, Pramuka, Tidung, Payung and Sebira islands.
Animals Secured from Traders in Latuharhari"Whole residential will be vaccinated and out target is to make them free from rabies," he stated.
He added the last vaccination was done in 2014 when bird flu attacked the island.
