907 Animals for Rabies Spreaders Vaccinated

To prevent and protect Jakarta from rabies, Central Jakarta Marine, Fishery, and Food Security Sub-Department decided to vaccine 907 animal for rabies spreaders since January to April 2015.
Such vaccination is done in Tanah Abang, Senen and Menteng Sub-Districts
According to Hasodungan, Head of Livestock Section for Central Jakarta Marine, Fishery and Food Security Sub Department, Hasodungan told his sub-department is targeted to vaccine 2,000 animal for rabies spreaders in Central Jakarta. Thus far, about 907 have been vaccinated, consisting of 506 dogs, 394 cats, 6 monkeys and 1 ferret.
"Such vaccination is done in Tanah Abang, Senen and Menteng Sub-Districts," told Hasodungan, Tuesday (5/12).
Dogs Secured In A Raid As Rabies PreventionHe added, another vaccination would also be done in Johar Baru Sub-District after the vaccination in Menteng Sub-District completed by the end of this May.
"The vaccination is mostly given in Tanah Abang Sub-District, which is 502 animals," he disclosed.
