2017, Cakung Lama River Normalized

North Jakarta Administration is going to normalize the Cakung Lama River that crosses Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village (Kelapa Gading Sub-district), Sukapura Urban Village, Semper Barat Urban Village, Marunda Urban Village (Cilincing Sub-district) and Tugu Selatan Urban Village (Koja Sub-district).

Hence, we're re-discussing river normalization with SKPD/UKPD

North Jakarta Secretary, Ahmad Ya'la disclosed that Cakung Lama River as long as 5.2 kilometers will be re-normalized.

"Hence, we're re-discussing river normalization with SKPD/UKPD. I don't know when, but this year, we will send circulation letter to citizens containing river normalization plan this year," he expressed, Monday (3/28).

Cipinang and Sunter Rivers Normalization Prioritized in Musrenbang

The long river that crosses five urban villages is 9.2 kilometers. First step, the normalization was realized last year at RW 03, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading Sub-district and RW 10, Sukapura Urban Village, Cilincing Sub-district. We had dredged about four kilometers at that time.

Second step, normalization would also be carried out in the upcoming 2017 with 5.2 kilometers long and 20 meters wide.

"That's why, have not been able to determine the number of residential who will be normalized because we are still waiting for flat construction to relocate the citizens," he closed.
