South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy is still mapping to improve the street light (PJU). It is aimed to connect street lights with smart system.
Through smart system, we will know which spots are broken
Samsul, Head Section of Lighting for South Jakarta Sub-dept. of Industry and Energy, admitted the mapping has reached 75 percent. Up to April 2016, 32,029 out of 50,000 street lights have been mapped. Those are existing lights which served through 329 relay stations.
“The remaining 25 percent would complete on April 30, 2016. We have special personnel in every sub-districts,” he said, Tuesday (4/12).
333 Street Lights Brighten Jalan PemudaAccording to him, 50,000 LED lights to be installed and connected with smart system in South Jakarta. Light’s watt is adjusted with road class such as Jalan MHT 40 watts, connecting or environment road 90-120 watts, and protocol road 200 watts.
“Through smart system, we will know which spots are broken,” he added.
His side predicted the installation could complete in November.
