The Tanah Abang Sub-district once again controlled street vendors (PKL) who open stall on the sidewalk and water channel, Thursday (4/14). As a result, tens of carts and shanties from some areas could be confiscated by the officer.

We control 11 carts, 1 compressor and 2 shanties

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Santoso disclosed, the officer did sweeping along Jalan Aipda KS Tubun, Teluk Betung and Kampung Bali V, precisely behind Millennium Hotel.

"We control 11 carts, 1 compressor and 2 shanties," he told, Thursday (4/14).

He explains those carts and compressors can be redeemed after the owner undergoes a speedy trial for light offenses, which is locally called tipiring trial. As for the shanties, will be burned.

"We sent 40 personnel to control them," he closed.
