Ministry of Environment and Forestry issues two reclamation moratorium. Those two moratoriums are for planning and execution. It is hoped the developers would obey the regulation after getting the development license.
According to laws, activity must be stopped before completing all requirement
Siti Nurbaya, the minister, said moratoriums will be removed after all document are prepared by National Development Planning Board (Bappenas). It means no development activity can be held on the island at this moment.
“First moratorium is planning, fully. Until environment impact analysis is prepared by Bappenas,” she said, Wednesday (5/4).
Building License for Reclamation Island Awaits Central GovernmentNot only planning, moratorium is also prepared for development. All development activity must be postponed until new regulation is issued.
