"In sub-district, we open 24 hours including health post in Pari Island which is not a puskesmas," stated Head of South Seribu Islands Sub-district Puskesmas, Syukur Telaumbanua, Wednesday (5/11).

According to him, geographical condition makes puskesmas open 24 hours, due to limited access to land and transportation. Meanwhile, to support services in sub-district puskesmas, three doctors and three nurses per day are on standby to serve the citizens.

"All facilities in sub-district and urban village are good. But in sub-district, the number of officer is a lot than urban village. We need more mobile puskesmas," he explained.

Regarding use of ambulance boat, his side complains the expensive of ambulance operational that spends Rp 5 million for once in operation, moreover patient or victim transportation is free of charge, either BPJS user or not user. Different with land ambulance, they often ask for money.
