Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama admitted has prepared governor regulation (Pergub) related to 3 in 1 system abolition. After being trialed in a month, the system will be eliminated permanently on May 16.

The permanent elimination is based on trial review that the system is not affecting the traffic much. In the early trial, traffic jam spots were many. After a month, traffic was gradually reduced.

Mostly road users have took alternative road. Some of them also used Transjakarta bus, free bus, and double-decker bus.
