Ahead of the fasting month, the police traffic corps will conduct 2016 Patuh Jaya Operation starting today, Monday (5/16) until May 29. 

We warn the motorist that we do this operation to create public safety

Vice Chief of Police Traffic Corps, Brig. Gen. Indrajit emphasizes, traffic safety through 2016 Patuh Jaya Operation is done in order to create public safety, but not to complicate motorists and road users.

"We warn the motorist that we do this operation to create public safety," he expressed, Monday (5/16).

He disclosed that the operation is targeted to violation that impacts on traffic accident that causes high casualties, such as driving at high speed, conduct contra flow and road markings, etc.

He hoped, it could increase discipline level among residents thus public order can be realized optimally.

"In addition to increasing public confidence to the police, the casualty rate in traffic violations decreased, likewise with congestion. In operation, I emphasize, prioritizing safety and security of personnel," he disclosed.
