Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama believes that Jakarta General Election Commission (KPU) could quite professional in running the 2017 regional elections (Pilkada). All activities must be conducted transparently.

"I think Jakarta KPU is ready and professional. We have met thrice, I say all matters must be transparent," he said, after distribution of grant budget to the KPU and Bawaslu, at City Hall, Monday (5/16).
He asks transparency does not only for the budget, but also for supervision after the elections. Thus people can see there is no fraud in all electoral processes.

Even, he offered all election stages to be included in Jakarta Smart City. It can save budget from Bawaslu. It is also able to avoid slander, because all is integrated with the Internet network.
"We've offered Jakarta Smart City. Bawaslu cannot form many networks due to limited budget. It must be made transparent and fair thus people could be satisfied. This is a big city you know, we are always highlighted," he uttered.
