Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama said river cleaning in the capital is run in self-management system since 2013 ago.
River has been cleaned since Jokowi period as governor
“River has been cleaned since Jokowi period as governor,” he said, Friday (5/20).
According to him, self-management system has great impact compared to run by third party. Several rivers have been used as swimming pool for local children.
Flood Management should Be Done Simultaneously“We just pay our freelancers. We also have heavy equipments of ours,” he added.
As the monitoring, his side uses Qlue application. Citizens participation is needed to report the river condition on the application.
Jakarta Provincial Government also has issued Bylaw No. 3/2013 about waste management. People will be fined Rp 500 thousands up to Rp 5 million of disposing trash carelessly.
