About 14,900 people from 6,000 households have been relocated to the flats. Its number is believed continue to grow in line with program of river normalization in the capital.

"Thus far there have been at least 5,000-6,000 households relocated," said Head of Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept, Ika Lestari Aji, Saturday (5/21).
Those households are from Pluit Reservoir, Sekretaris River, Mookervart River, Kampung Pulo, Pulomas, Kalijodo, Pasar Ikan, Waduk Ria Rio, Ciliwung Waterway and other locations.

"We'll build other 20,000 units this year and is targeted to be complete next year. Not only that, we also intend to propose 50,000 units," she told.
